An Introduction

AACars is an acronym for the Automated Airline Communications, Addressing, and Reporting System, a program meant to streamline our virtual airline operations while adding a number of new and exciting features for our pilots to enjoy. It consists of both a desktop application that runs on the pilot's computer and communicates directly with Flight Simulator through the FSUIPC.dll interface, as well as a number of software programs on our corporate website. These all form a complete system that will allow you, an Atlantic Skies pilot, to more easily submit a proper Pilot Report as well as maintain your pilot record.
When a flight has been completed, a pilot may then file his PIREP and receive a new flight assignment directly through the AACars interface.

It is strongly suggested that before attemtpting to run AACars for the first time, you read through the Operations Manual completely (currently out of date, but still a useful resource -- 4/11/2006). It will answer many first-time questions, and has many screen captures of the program illustrating it's various features and use.

Latest Version Download
Version 4.03 COMPLETE: ftp://ftp.atlanticskies.com/pub/utilities/aacars/aacars403.zip
This version uses the same installation routine as version 4.0, so all you should need to do is run the setup for this version and let it automatically overwrite the existing files, if you have a previous version installed. You should not have to uninstall anything first. Also, the latest version of FSUIPC (good for the updated version of FS2004) is included in the installation and you will have the option of installing it if you don't have it already.
